  16. ''Ham Radio Horizons,'' a video introduction to Amateur Radio produced
  17. by CQ Communications, has won a bronze medal in the Association for
  18. Visual Communicators' 1994 Cindy awards competition.
  19.  
  20. The video won in the ''public service and information'' category. The
  21. Cindy awards honor outstanding productions in all fields of
  22. non theatrical video programming, including radio, television,
  23. cable, and non broadcast categories, according to a press release
  24. from CQ.

  26. ''Ham Radio Horizons'' was written, produced, and directed by Rich
  27. Moseson, NW2L, who is ARRL Northern New Jersey Section Manager as
  28. well as a member of the ARRL's volunteer Public Relations Committee.
  29. The awards were presented in June at the INFOCOMM trade show in Los
  30. Angeles.
